We took the babies to the ILs for Passover, it was their first time meeting the whole family. It was 10 adults and 5 small kids.....and apparently too loud for our LOs. They SCREAMED nearly the entire time. Inconsolable. Tears. Ugh, it was so darn rough.
It was so nice to have them meet everyone and to have the whole family together, but we are going to bow out on the second Seder tonight. Babies need to recover, and so does mama.

Your kids are 2 months old- I'd give them a break! Mine is 2 1/2 years old and couldn't sit through it either. However, instead of screaming and crying, he started throwing things; the Hagaddah, the silverware - oh yeah- it was fun. He only calmed down when the cookies came out. We're bowing out tonight too. We'll try again next year at 3 1/2.
Elijah should have fun at Passover- will he get to open the door every year and drink from the cup? I love his name!

lol, the other kids 'did it for him' this year! Poor kid, a whole life of jokes at Passover:)
Yeah, I actually think part of the fun of Passover is watching all the kids get antsy and then bribed to sit still:)
Bribery works well. So does looking for the Afikomen. My son got $20 for it and I basically showed him where I hid it. If I had known he was going to get $20, I would have found it and kept the money!! I got .50 cents when I was a kid!
