timing contractions

Nope, not there yet, but I know it will be quickly upon us if my OBs don't insist on inducing me again this time.  (I'm really hoping to avoid it)

Since I was induced last time I didn't really pay attention, but I know there is an online site that you can time your contractions.  Can anyone let me know what it is so that I can go ahead and bookmark it now?

Here's to hoping for a labor that is as natural as I can handle!

Re: timing contractions

  • I actually downloaded an application to my phone that you can time contractions with - I have a droid. I'm sure there are websites (ie, contractionmaster.com).

  • I can't remember which site I used, there are several.  Maybe Google it and see which one you like.  I used one when I went into labor with #2 where the counter was really big, so I didn't have to squint at the laptop.  It was funny though - she came so damn fast, I hardly used it.

  • We used contractionmaster.com - it's really easy, you just hit the space bar when one starts and when it stops.
