Success after IF

ugh, should I wake him? WWYD

As everyone knows by now H's naps are ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Yesterday he took three 30 min naps.

Today I put him down at 9am (Central, so 2+ hrs ago) and he's still sleeping.

I want to let him sleep, but I know from past experience that when he naps this long in the morning it ruins any chance of a decent afternoon nap.

Weissbluth says you should always wake after two hours to protect the afternoon nap at this age, but I have such a hard time doing that.

WWYD?

  • I'd probably let him sleep. N is always so cranky if she wakes up before she wants to wake up!

  • DS is a little younger, but I let him sleep when he wants to sleep. If I don't he is not going to be a happy baby, so I rather him sleep now then be miserable later.
