My can't live without items are a white noise machine, swing (there's a new one out that starts with batteries and then continues to run using magnets to save power. if ours breaks we will be splurging on this.), carter's brand clothes, and robeez shoes.
Miracle Blanket! This is my #1 baby item. The swing was a lifesaver for us as well. DD's BFF now is the FP Seahorse and she's been sleeping with this since she was a newborn. We used our bouncer, jumperoo and Bumpo often. I also love our FP Space Saver Highchair. Other practicle items would be burp cloths, receiving blankets, bath towel and washcloths, onsies (not Gerber brand...they run really small), Butt Paste and bath tub. I also love our Anglecare Movement Monitor and white noise machine. Oh and the Soothie's brand pacifiers were great.

Re: question for all of you....
both my kids loved the swing and jumperoo.
DD loved the playmat, DS loved the excersaucer.
I never really used the boppy and never saw a need for the bumbo.
I use my Boppy everyday. She lays in it on the couch by me so I don't have to hold her all the tim.
I love the My Little Lamb swing made by Fisher Price.
We use the Fisher Price Seahorse every night at bedtime to calm and sooth DD.
