I went to my 16 week appt yesterday and I still have not heard the baby's heartbeat...
At my last appt we couldn't hear it either. I was getting a little worried so the OB pulled out the ultrasound machine and there it was!! Just swimming around and being incredibly busy! Apparently Sprout is too active for my OB to catch the heartbeat.
I was so relieved! We scheduled our big ultrasound for 3 weeks and I am looking forward to seeing it some more!
However, they will be doing and internal ultrasound the same day to check cervical length and I'm not the biggest fan but anything to keep Sprout in there a little bit longer...

Glad the little one is looking good! Good to hear that your doctors are being proactive and hoping to prevent PTL like last time.
And I'm so glad to be finally joining you on the 2U2 journey! Praying for healthy, full term babies for both of us!
I had a dream last night that Luke was playing with his little sister so right now I think its a girl!
Firemans~ I am SO excited for you!! I love my OB and how proactive she is being, it really helps calm the worry. When is your first appt?

Also, what was the website you gave me for the John Deere stuff? I forgot it.
My first appt isn't until April 20! And that's just the paperwork appt, nothing exciting. My first ultrasound is scheduled for May 5, I'll be about 10 weeks. I'm not really in a hurry for that, because a lot of the drama with my last OB started with a too early u/s and her not trusting my dates! So I'm cool with waiting til 10 weeks for that!
