It is an iron crib!  DH is totally on board but I am the one struggling with being 100% ok spending that amount.  It fits into the nursery budget just find but, am I being ridiculous getting a $1200 crib?  It is SO pretty though!

This is my second option - it is only $900 so I feel a bit better about that.

I like the second one better anyway!  I have heard many good things about Bratt Decor.  They sell it at a local boutique here in town.  It is the same one I want, but in the darker color.

I think the white would look great with your bedding fabric, don't you think? It is a really beautiful crib.  I don't see the problem if you can afford it.  

I need to find a way to get MY DH totally on board!! I might just have to make an executive decision without him ; )

I *think* I have seen the first one in person.  I did a quick browse of the cribs when I picked up my stroller on Saturday and think that is the one I saw - I have a call in to the store to see if it really was.

I would see if you can find them in person.  I am quite certain Houston has plenty of ritzy baby shops that sell them! You can even take a swatch of your fabrics in there and see how they look.

Ok - I just heard back from the store.  I didn't see either of those in person. Here is the link for the one I saw.  I'm not so fond of the internet picture but I LOVED it in store.  And, the guy said he will sell it to me for $750 since we bought our stroller there.  It looks great with our swatches too.

Sorry to jump in, but I love the one that you saw in the store! I think it's really pretty. Plus, Creations gets really good reviews and it sounds like you'll get a great deal at the store. I'd go with it!

Good luck!!! I love the dainty little girley cribs. My DH should be thanking his lucky stars we're having a boy! Hahaha!

It is beautiful and convertible!  It looks like the top doesn't drop down, so you can't make it into a toddler bed.  But I have heard many on here say toddler beds are a waste.  You can move them straight to a twin after they are out of the crib.  When Kate is out of her crib, you could move that to the guest room as a full bed, or give it to a second baby if you have one.

That is a lot of use for $750! Go for it!!
