We don't even use those but Kirsten is insisting we try... I SWEAR it's all her. I keep telling her we don't have the cash for it right now. But she is just so darn persistant

The prints are cute. Do you have any wool? I love our Once Upon a Baby interlock soaker.
We have 4 thirsties and rarely get to the 4th cover. Hmm.
Maybe my prefold skills are lacking... it seems like we frequently get poop on the edge of the covers (lol... I like how I say frequently with a whopping 6 days experience). Also, I've used fitteds and PFs almost exclusively so far (except for our pedi visit yesterday).
I have 1 pair of longies and 1 pair of shorties that I knit but I'm waiting for her cord stump to fall off because I'm afraid it will catch on the wool...
Get the thirsties or Litewraps for the NB stage. The only reason I lean towards thirsties right now is because of resale. The LWs are industrial strength! You can even rinse them, let them dry and reuse them right away.

We had a lot of problems with this and sometimes she still has a big poop and gets it on the covers. There where times I had to put them in with the normal wash ( I rinsed them in cold water in the tub before hand) we use CD safe detergent on all our clothes so it wasn't a problem. I didn't want to buy more cover for the nb stage.

That's why I figured I'd get the Duos... Then I'm all set for the next few months with my covers.
Hmmmm good to know. do the thirsties duos fit a nb?
They fit great for us. Don't know how they'd work on a teeny tiny newborn though... Sophie was 7lbs 10 oz.
My LO was 8lbs at birth and went down to around 6 something and we have been using the thirsties duo size ones with great success.
Truthfully I have never had poop get on a cover. So I WAY overbought with covers considering I use one for an entire day or even two without incident. And we have been using prefolds, and kissaluv contours.

Re: I need...errr... Sophie needs some more covers!!
I "need" another one also because I'm longing for the tree print!

our thirsties duos fit better than the xs.
Alisha - I'm mostly sticking to kl0s so that's likely why.

Ahhh... yeah our KL0s have yet to leak onto the cover.
