put him out on the deck with a tote full of bird seed and sand box toys. I put the baby gate up to keep him contained and propped the back door open. I was able to clean the kitchen top to bottom, all the dishes, and make 3 dozen cookies (Cowboy Cookies-YUM!)
Re: PIP: how I kept DS safely entertained for over an hour...
Technically you can use 4-5cups of "whatever" in them, but this is how they were first made for me, and DH, DS, and I (and everyone I've shared them with) love them. It's a taste explosion in every bite.
haha... funny....so just like a choc. chip recipe, then add whatever in them?
1 c butter (I use 1 stick marg and 1 stick butter)
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 c oats (I use quick)
2-3 cups of whatever (choc chips, peanut butter chips, raisins)
Beat butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl combine flour, soda, salt, and baking powder. Add to butter mixture. Stir in oats and chips. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
hahaha! Not like it'll taste very good and I don't think it'd hurt him...
hahahaa!!! true true...
DS still says "mommy! look at my poop pickle" so, if it was full of bird seeds I'd probably pee my pants laughing at what he'd say.
-- oh, and he always clarifies to me, "we don't eat poop pickles Mommy. they are yucky. They will make you sick." bahahaha
