Update on DD's leg and PIP

We went to the pediatric orthopedic today and they gave her a little cast, below the knee since the fracture is low.  They were great (thanks taffy for the rec!) and Megan liked getting to choose the color.  She has what's called a buckle fracture and the cast will be on about 4 weeks.  I feel much better now that she's in a cast and it's more protected.  Here's a pic of her on her new bean bag chair with her blue cast.

Poor girl! I'm glad she's got it all taken care of, and I hope these 4 weeks go by fast (for you and her!).

Glad she's doing better!  Babytaffy broke his right leg, so between the two of them they'd have a full set of the snazzy sandals.

Aw, she looks like she's handling it well though.  Uh, I can't imagine... I've never broken a bone before and if my child does at some point I'll probably be a wreck!

We saw Dr. Catherine Sargent, she's the newest Dr there and the only one with an available spot yesterday :-)  She and everyone else we saw were great.

Thanks everyone!  Megan seems to be in good spirits, she's just frustrated about not being able to walk / ride her bike / take a bath...
