PIP: Lots of progress in our bathroom!

See siggy pic.  I was scrubbing off the little paper bits from the wall when Mady tried to use one of her foam letters to help, so I gave her an (unused) scrubby and she loved it!

I/We got the entire lower half done (anything I could reach without a ladder) in the span of about an hour, half of that while wearing DS!  As soon as I get the top half done we can prime and paint.  So maybe I can get that done in the short spans I get not holding/wearing DS this week and paint this weekend.  SQUEEEEE!!!

  • Good for you, girly! Our formerly-wallpapered kitchen is done, thanks to my mom doing the bits-of-paper removal and scrubbing. I still need to paint two small walls of wainscotting, but all in due time...

Our wallpapered bathroom is next! (probably a summer job)

What color are you painting the bathroom?

  • Oh yay!! That's an adorable picture, too!

I have this no-voc tan color that I got a year and a half ago (eek!) when I thought we were repainting the office before we moved.  It didn't happen and I decided to do a purplish gray instead, so this is the bathroom color.  Hopefully I can do both bathrooms with one can.

  • I'm just amazed you did this while caring for a toddler and a month old baby. I could never be that motivated!

It's called desperation, LOL.  I'm hosting a potluck dinner sometime in the next month and want it to be done!
