How long to wait to re-ferberize after ear infection?

DS got started on antibiotics on Saturday and he seems to be doing MUCH better, but I don't know when to re-ferberize him...

I know wait until he is 100%, but how do I know when that is??  He seems pretty much fine at night now - he isn't screaming his head off but he still wakes up at night crying - but will go right to sleep when I bring him into our bed (sometimes at 11pm sometimes at 1am - it is random)..

Any advice? Or estimates on how long it takes for an EI to clear up?
