Funny thing DS1 said yesterday

So DS1 (Carson) can spell his name. I know he knows several of the letters (he'll point them out in other words), but I don't know he really knows what he's doing when he spells - I think he just knows the string of letters that spell his name. Anyway, sometimes when DH or the nanny & I talk about going to the park, we'll spell 'park' b/c if he hears the word 'park,' he fully expects to go. Right that second. No matter what time it is or if it's pouring rain, etc. So yesterday he came up to me & with his big puppy eyes said, "Mommy, will you please take me to the C-A-R-S-O-N?" It took me a sec to understand he was asking to go to the park by spelling the only word he knows how to spell! Ha!
