After getting up really early this morning to eat, and then wait my time and drink my glucose stuff on the way to the doctor I got everything done. I did not feel good at all when I got to the doctor. That stuff was not for me at all. I sat in the room fanning myself with a magazine. The nurses were great - she asked if I could pee for her. I laughed at her, and told her "if I go into that bathroom I might come out with what you want, but none of this orange stuff will be in my body any more..." She laughed with me, and let me sit in my chair and fan. My whole face flushed....though my feet were FREEZING! The nurse left me to my fanning, and set the trash can by me *just in case.* I kept telling my self if I didn't keep this stuff down I would have to drink it again...that was not on the agenda.
I finally started feeling a little better about 10 minutes before they had to draw my blood. The doctor came in and we went over everything, measurements etc. He had the nurse come draw my blood right there in the room so I didn't have to move anymore (thank goodness!!!). I did not puke, but there was a good 45 minutes there, I wasn't sure about this. The nurse got my blood and then let me lay on my side for a while. I laid there for a little bit and then slowly got up.
It is over! Thanks everyone for your stories and how yours went. I kept telling myself "so and so did it, and they were fine....you will be fine, just keep breathing."
Now I have to wait to see if it comes back normal. I just pray it does...

That sounds exactly like my first go at it with Amelia, it was rough! I did it at 16 weeks this time and it was a breeze. I'm hoping it goes as well in a few weeks.
Fingers crossed for a good result for you!
