Do I need to prep cloth wipes?

I purchased some bumGenius Bamboo Baby Wipes. I noticed that there are little bits of cloth being released from the wipes (does not appear wipe is damaged, just extra fluff from factory). Do I need to prep these in anyway, or can I just wash them once?
