What can I do for ear pain (for me)?

My doc has 2 in labor this morning, so I'm guessing it'll be awhile before I hear back.  Tylenol barely dulls it.  Any ideas?

    Maybe they can call you in some of those numbing drops?

    no help here but you should go to the dr... you don't want your eardrum to burst.  can you get into your family dr?

    Yeah, was gonna recommend the numbing ear drops.  Call your regular doctor or maybe even the pedi will call them in for you.

    kn the mean time, running your hair dryer on low to medium heat on lowest setting at the ear helps as does warm compress.

    Warm moist wash rag.  Can you take plain Sudafed?

    I put warm (lukewarm, not shower warm) peroxide in my ears for earaches and after swimming. It will dry up any water in your ear.  I just googled it and couldn't find anything saying it was dangerous (a la candeling) before I made my rec.  ;)
