If you had a D&C, how long did you bleed afterward?

I had a D&C last year after our miscarriage, but I can't remember how much I bled afterward.  I just had to have another postpartum to remove tissue leftover from the placenta.  The Dr. told me I wouldn't really bleed.  But I have had some red bleeding for the past few days (I had it on Friday).  Not a lot.  I have also had a little cramping, although not enough to use pain medication.  This is normal, right?

    I only bled very lightly the day of the surgery, but I have heard others say they bled for a week or more.

    Not sure if it's any different post partum...I bled for about 10 days, then it stopped, then it started up again for another 2 days, then it was finally over.

    I had some cramping on the day after and 2 days after. 

    BFP #1 9/23/09. Missed MC 10w3d D&C 11/3/09.

    BFP #2 4/13/10. Bridget born 12/28/10

    BFP #3 Finn born 8/11/15

    I bled/spotted for about 10 days, and then it stopped for about 10 days, and I bled for another week or so (It wasn't my period).

    I bled for 4 full weeks after my D&C. The first week was like a light period and the rest of the time was like spotting, but a little heavier at times. The doc said everything was fine though and that everyone heals differently.

    When I had my D&E a few years ago, I only had spotting for 1 full week.

    I bled for about 2 weeks afterwards.  I bled steadily for about a week and then spotted for another week or so.  I talked about this with my doctor at the follow up and she said it was normal and could even last another week or two.

    I think it's really different for everyone. with my d&c I didn't bleed at all after leaving the hospital.

    I'm sorry you have to go through this.

    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    I think I bled for only several days afterward.  I think it was about 3 days and the flow was light.  I do remember having some cramping, but it wasn't very severe and I did not need to take the pain meds that were prescribed to me.

    I'm so sorry for your loss.
    I bled for 3 weeks.  It was heavy at first but then it kind of slacked off after a few days.

    I bled for 5 days with minimal cramping.
