Even though it's trendy, I prefer Grayson/Greyson over Grayer.

No, no, no!  The most positive thing that came to mind was that it was a horribly misspelled version of Grier, which is usually used for girls (or a ln of course).

Reminds me of Grier...which I prefer.  Grier was the little boy on the movie the Nanny Diaries FWIW
