Feels like a silly cd ?

I bought some small fuzzi buns covers and was wondering if I can use them as a cover for prefolds?  Or would it be better to just buy some new liners and use them as pockets?

We stuffed with prefolds for years!  I buy mine at Fuzzibunzseconds.net and used prefolds with them.  I finally asked for inserts for Christmas this year (I know, I'm fun) and have "true" Fuzzi Bunz now.

My only complaint would be that my prefolds started falling apart, and left lint all over my diapers in the wash.  Doesn't really affect their working abilities, but leaves LOs bottom linty.

We don't have fuzzibunz, but I've used my Wonderoos with prefolds stuffed inside or as a regular cover.  They did the job well!

This. I find our pockets are all best with both cotton/hemp and microfiber, but prefolds alone also work well. I will say that our FB smalls didn't actually fit well until 13lb (and they still fit now), so I will be getting some XS for the next baby.

Oh, and FWIW, I did have to use a FB as a cover one day. I can't remember what happened (maybe the insert was wet but I ran out of diapers, so I used a prefold and the FB as a cover once it was dry.....I know for sure one time I had a fitted and forgot a cover, so rather than use the FB, I just used it as the cover).

I think it all depends on the baby.  Mine was 8 lbs 10 oz at birth, and was 10 lbs by his 2 week appointment.  We used FB smalls as soon as we started cloth, which was about 3 weeks in with him. (he was circ'ed, so we did 'sposies until that and his belly button healed.)
