How to prep CD?

Hi there!

We just finished buying our CD stash.  We have a mixture of prefolds, KL0s, Thirsties Fitteds, BG 3.0s, and GroBaby. 

How do I prep these?  I know I have to prep the prefolds separately.  I plan on washing my CDs with the Original Tide Powder.  Do I use that for prepping as well?  Do the fitteds need as much prepping as the prefolds?  And, do I need to do anything for our covers (Thirsties Duo)? 

Sorry for all the questions---I just want to make sure I get started on the right foot!  TIA!

Maybe I did it wrong or it's different but I have BG 3.0 and I was under the impression all I had to do was wash them before DS wore them.  That's all I did and it worked fine.   (Washed seperately from rest of laundry)  They should come with instructions though.

Here is what I would/did do:

Prefolds- I hate doing a lot of "empty" loads just to prep these so I throw them in with other laundry, like towels.  Otherwise you'll need to do about 4 washes with a couple of dries thrown in.  I'd do every other load with detergent.  

I'd wash the KL0s, Thirsties, BGs (outer & inserts) all together just once and dry.  I have no idea about GroBabies because i've never used them.

Just toss the covers in with your consolidated wash but they don't need to be dried but if you do, that's ok.
