Colored Splotch in Iris?

DH and I took our LO for a walk today and we noticed that there is a colored splotch in one of his irises. Is this happening with anyone else's LO? Does anyone know what that means? Are his eyes just changing color?

    It's likely totally normal. Even adults can have a spot of color there. I dated a brown eyed guy in high school and he had a yellow spot on his iris.

    I've got blue eyes, but my left eye has a hazel/brown spot in it....

    My DH has a couple black or maybe dark brown spots in his light hazel eyes.  I also have a friend whose one eye is half blue and half hazel.  I'm thinking its just a normal variation for your LO
