I might actually be the world's worst runner. I'm running the "Race to Wrigley" 5K at the end of April...
I'm sort of hoping there is beer involved.

Every 5k I've ever been in, I walked. NO WAY my ass is running anywhere unless a masked man is chasing me ---and even then I'd have to weigh all my options.
You can have your husband wait at the finish line with some cold beer in hand!

This! Also, my terrible hips. I'm like an old woman.
This is why I run! I did a fools run today and sucked big time but I drank my beer and enjoyed it like a champion.

Good for you! Beer is definitely a must after a 5k. LOL. You can tell where my priorities are.
We just did a 5k, we were already attempting to do the "Couch to 5k" to prove to my friends I would still hate running. We were only half way through it when we signed up for the 5K. It was last minute and it was for the NICU so we HAD to do it.
We ran, walk, ran, walk... BUT we finished and to us, that's all that we cared about.
I adore you because this is exactly what I was thinking.
