What's good at Trader Joe's?

Hi! We are in the Seattle area and finding ourselves with some time to kill in front of a Trader Joe's. I remember someone posted this question a while back but couldn't remember what all the recommendations were, other than coffee. Post your gave TJs items!

Re: What's good at Trader Joe's?

  • Everything.

Wine, tapenades, nuts, etc. etc.  Go crazy!

  • Yum I love their wine!

  • Their cornbread is AWESOME (get a few boxes).  I love their wild rice pilaf and their red licorice from Australia.  Also their Jo Jos (like oreos) are really yummy.

ETA: Um, yeah, I should have said get a few boxes, if you can.  (We go through the stuff like mad!)

  • Pretty much everything!  I love their junk food, over by the refridgerated section.  The gummies, chocolates, etc.  Their snacks are great too, like chips, etc.  I have a weird passion for their freeze dried fruit too, which is by the dried fruit.  Yum.
  • I miss TJ's so much!

Everything is great!  We stock up on wine, peanut butters, salad dressings, jams/jellies, pad thai boxes, cereals, breakfast bars, fruit leathers, and boxed soups.

  • The banana bread mix is awesome. I also loved the frozen stuff (not practical unless you are doing some cooking in Seattle, though!). But for the record, we loved their frozen tamales (2 / pack) and the frozen tempura vegetables. They also have these desserts that are two chocolate chip cookies with ice cream in the middle. They are heaven (because in heaven, calories don't count).

  • I probably caught this too late - but the best thing there - HANDS DOWN is the chocolate covered peanut butter filled pretzels. YUM. Anytime I'm there or my sister comes to visit I get them by the bag full. Jo Jo's are also awesome - especially around Xmas when they're candy-cane filled. I also really like the chocolate covered ginger. Mmmm. Come to think of it, I don't know that I've ever had any non-junk food from there...
