Wills?

We need to create a simple will - something stating what would happen to our stuff if MH and/or I passed away, and something to designate guardians for our LO. Can we just go w/ some will-making software, or should we consult a lawyer? I called a lawyer today because I have some legal coverage through work, but we'd still have to pay $600 OOP. If software is sufficient, does anyone have any recommendations on which program we should use?

We went to the lawyer.  It was fairly cheap, but the software is way cheaper. I just felt more comfortable with the formal lawyer route when it came to the kids.  I am anal like that.
