Safety Alert: 150,000 Evenflo Gates Recalled

It was announced this morning that 150,000 wooden Evenflo gates were recalled, after the CPSC found the wooden slats on the gate to be easily broken/detachable. The particular gate being recalled is the Evenflo Top-of-Stair Gate.

So far, 142 incidents of broken slats have been reported, including three cases where children have been able to gain access to the stairs they were meant to be blocked from.
