We have a basset hound who wants to go in and out the back door 1,000,000,000 times a day.  Really, sometimes he will go out and come back in before you can even get the door shut from letting him out.
Lately, DD insists she is the only one who let him in or out.  I am happy she chose that chore to take over.  It drove me nuts and she doesn't seem to mind a bit. 
Works for me.

We HAVE a doggy door.  We got it for our Pom and the fatterthanhell BH doesn't fit.  He just shoves his snout through when he wants in and huffs and puffs.  Pretty cute.
We had to cut a hole in the wall and don't want to make it even bigger.

Haha. I'll be happy when Caroline can do that with Jake. He plays this game where he'll stand at the back door and whine, stick his nose through the blinds, etc. and then we walk over and open the door and he just stands there or turns around and walks away. Ugh.
