Getting me rip-roaring drunk!  I told him that if nothing else, it might be a good time...and pointed out that most drunken pregnancies are probably a result of forgetting to use birth control.

    Maybe!  My boss got preggo after a drunken night and forgetting that she was on antibiotics with her BCP :)

    My SIL and her BFF swear that is what I am doing wrong. Not getting hammered. "Cause that's how they became pregnant". Huh?

    HSG: Right tube all clear, left tube inconclusive
    3 failed Clomid Cylces
    4/5 lap revealed blocked left tube, but right tube is open
    April/May- 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #1= CANCELLED left ovary ovulating
    June 1- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #1 = BFN
    June 28- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #2 =BFP!
    7/12 Beta #1= 14 Beta #2= >5 Chemical Pregnancy :(
    July-Nov long break to recover emotionally and financially
    Nov 24- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #3= BFN
    Jan 22- Gonal-F + Ovidrel + IUI# 4 = CANCELLED no response on right
    IVF #1- Start stims 4/7, ER 4/20, 21R, 14F, 6 frosties, ET 4/25, 2 embryos transferred= BFN :(
    FET #1- June 2012, Lurpon starts 5/27- CANCELLED
    FET #1 take 2- August 2012, delayed until Sept-CANCELLED
    FET #1 take 3- ET 10/11, 2 embryos transferred,= BFFN
    FET #2- Transfer 12/4--Cancelled, no embies survived thaw :(
    Next steps-- IVF #2 with new RE in March
    HOLY SURPRISE BFP 2/15/13!!!! Beta 1- 286, Beta 2- 782, First Ultrasound 2/25- baby in uterus & all looks good!

    That's what my sister told me too!  After over a year of trying all it took for her and BIL was "margaritas and a hotel room!"  Of course she is just joking...

    My mom would agree with that. She was drunk all three times she got pregnant--and she was trying two of the times (the last time was a complete surprise; by baby brother was only 5 months old and she did not expect to get pregnant again since she had tried for 5 years with fertility drugs to get him). I keep joking that I should just drink every night until I O to see what happens.

    lol...i was trying for 8 months with DS and it finally happened the night of my husbands 30th surprise party...Drunk sex worked for me!  lol

    I say go for it! If nothing else, at least you'll probably have fun and crazy drunk sex.

    My one group of friends swear by this! So far, all 3 that have kids have conceived them when drinking and all 3 have been when it was someone's bday party or other big get together. The one actually conceived her son after another friend's bday almost exactly a year ago... well it's time for that bday party again tonight and I think I just got a +OPK today so I'm putting the theory to the test! Wink
