If you have more than one carseat - what type of infant seat are you using?
Now that DS #2 is here, we moved DS #1's carseat behind the driver and DS #2's behind the passenger.
We have the Britax Companion infant seat and while we love it, the passenger seat has to be moved up so far to allow us to be able to be able to drop the handle while we're in the car. This makes the passenger seat super uncomfortable to sit in fo anyone ove 5 ft tall. ugh.
TIA!
Re: Long Shot: Honda Pilot owners
LOL! I am liking that option more and more and DS #2 is only 2 weeks old!
We just bought our Pilot a few weeks ago. Our infant bucket is a Baby Trend Columbia. I agree it's hard to put the handle down without it hitting the front seats. We had to move DS to the passenger side and move that seat up to accomodate the handle. I'm 5'7 and DH is 6'3. It's not horrible, but it's not the best, either.
We have 3 carseats in the middle row and thought about moving DS into the middle, but it's too hard to lift the bucket into the middle over the other two carseats.
As of right now, I'm moving DS#1 from the middle to behind driver. Then I'll put #2's infant seat (Combi something) in the middle. The handle stays up so I don't have to worry about that. I want to be able to access that drop down single seat in case I have something big from the store or we need to install another car seat for friends or just access the third row seating.
I may change this but I think it makes sense to be able to access the infant by sitting next to him in the passenger side back row. I remember that when #1 was a baby, I'd have to stop often if he got hungry/fussy/poopy and it was easy if you could just slide right in next to him.
#1 will probably kick/push the drivers seat but he does that already a good bit so I just ignore it.
