  • Here is a tip - take all the "special cards" out and put them in the order that they appear on the board and then slide them sporadically into the deck in that order.........this ensures no going all the way back to start over again, the game goes much faster and DS has a better chance at drawing those special cards which is really all he wants anyways!

eta: he also goes apeshit if he loses!

    YOU, are a freaking genius!

  • Loading the player...
  • I'm in that hell too.  I never played it growing up that I remember, so I'm going to make my mom play it so she knows just how it feels....and had I had the game as a child, I would have never bought it.

I stack the deck so I get sent back to the candy cane.....Ben has a 100%  winning avg i this house.

  • DS is in love with Candyland also- I don't mind it so much (of course, I also stack the deck...) but MouseTrap I can NOT stand.  He just played it at Grandma's house, and if I have anything to do with it, we will never own it.  My stepsister used to make me play it over and over and over when I would babysit her.  <shudder>

  • This post made me LOL! I'm SO glad I'm not alone! The card order is brilliant, I will definitely implement.
  • That games annoys me. I threw the last one out b/c it was missing pieces and A is asking for a new one. Boo.
