I would love to know if anyone in here has preeclampsia? I have it and have been researching online but wanted to know exactly how high my 24 hour urine test results are or if a lot of people are in my situation this early into pregnancy...I think they are trying to make me feel better about this but i just wanted some info.
Thanks
Re: Anyone in here have Pre-E???
300 mg is the magic number. If it's over, it's trouble, if it's under, you're ok. I have done two 24 hour urine tests and both times they were in the mid to upper 100s. Right now I'm borderline pre-e.... because I have some symptoms and I don't have others. It's REALLY weird - to DH, me and the doc. But I am on bedrest.
Don't let it stress you out, because there is literally nothing you can do if you are dx with pre-e. Your doctor will help you a ton. The cure is delivery!
My urine test was 518...is that super high?? Im 28ish weeks. BPs were 153/105 when i came in now up and down every other time...Sometimes high 130s/140s over late 80s/90s. Ive been dizzy, nauseous, headaches, etc.
Is this a serious condition? Ive been in here 5 days and it sounded like im staying for a while any insight????
I had pre-e with DS and ended up being induced b/c of it at 38w exactly. I developed it pretty late (around 34 weeks or so) and felt immediate relief after delivery (with swelling, BP, etc.)
GL to you!

Oh my, you have way more symptoms than I have had. I hope you feel better really soon! Ask for some handout info on pre-e. Yes, it is very serious. Good luck!
518 is pretty high. I would say that you will be on hospital bedrest for a while. Pre-E is pretty serious and it can go from ok to bad very quickly. I had Pre-e with my daughter and she was delivered at 26 weeks exactly. She is doing great, but I had severe sudden onset Pre-e with her. Do they have you on any high BP meds? You should check the high risk board for more info or even the preemie board because a lot of us over there delivered early because of pre-e. Also, how is the baby growing?
The only way to get rid of pre-e is to deliver the baby. Since you are still pretty early, they will try and keep the baby baking as long as possible, unless the baby goes into distress or you get worse. Good luck!
