Ring Around The...Areola?

Anyone else have one??

Mine changes - it's there in the morning and seems to disappear at night...

Thought it was a little strange...not worried about it because my boobs are changing constantly - but, wanted to see if I was alone...

Anyone? anyone?

My areolas have gotten really dark, but they stay that way all the time. I heard it's so LO can find the nipple easier.....

Yep. Kind of a brownish halo around the areola? Between the size and color of them my LO will have no problem finding my nipples when she gets here.

My areolas get darker and bigger as the pregnancy goes on. They have for for all my pregnancies. I wouldn't say it makes a perfect ring but they get bigger and seem to spread out a bit onto the rest of my boobs, if that makes sense. I think it is normal.

The pigment of mine seem to have spread beyond the nipple...I swear, on a daily basis, something weird is going on with my body.  I just don't question anything anymore!

My areolas are HUGE now! If LO has any trouble finding the nipple, I'll make sure the pedi checks his/her vision, lol.

Yeah, this is happening to me too. I think it's part of all the weird skin pigmentation changes that happen when you're pregnant. I'm pretty sure your areolas stay dark, but the normal colored skin around them that's darkening will lighten back up eventually. At least I hope it will.

I get the "halo" sometimes, too...but other times it's not there. My areola/nipple looks like a bullseye!

Mine have been a bit weird too. Right now one is bigger then the other, Dr said it's normal

I have a ring too.  It reminds me of lipliner and I seem to notice it more in the mornings and not so much at night.  Weird.  Glad I am not alone.
