So most of you know that we have 2 Rat Terrier/Dachshund mix pups as seen in my siggy.
Well DH really wanted a big dog. So he decided to get a hound dog. A Coonhound. He is a year old and a very good boy. He is so good with the girls which is what I was really concerned about.
The story behind Beau is that someone shot him and left him in the woods for 2 weeks before a rescue found him. That tore at my heart strings. So I told DH to go ahead and adopt him.
Things I found out. He is worse of a bed hog then DH. We are going to break that habit. And he loves to jump up on our tan couches with dirty paws. But all in all he is a big lovable puppy!
Re: NTTGPR: Our new puppy
Ugh. Some people are absolutely evil. He looks like a sweetheart. Congrats! And your pups are adorable. So jealous!
BFP 3/28/16 (EDD 12/9/16) * Chemical pregnancy
ME: 40 yrs.old
DH: 41 yrs.old
DD: 5 yrs.
He is such a sweetheart and a very fast learner. We have already started training.
Let me tell ya training 3 puppies takes so much work and a TON of patients. But I keep telling DH that it is getting us ready for kids.
Aw what a sweet doggy family! Poor guy, I can't imagine someone cruel enough to shoot an animal and leave it for dead.
Glad he has a happy home now!
At least with kiddos you can change their diapers indoors
Are you trying to just break Beau of hogging the bed or your DH too? LOL.
He looks really great! He only has a small scar on his left shoulder from the bullet wound. He has a great personality for being shot. He is not scared of anyone, but he is scared of the noise of a gun. I do not blame the poor guy. I would be scared of that noise as well if I got shot.
The girls were so excited when we brought him home. OMG they were so funny. They jump all over him and lick him and love on him. If they bother him to much he just gently puts his paw on them and lays them down. It is so funny to watch.
I was really concerned about having 3 dogs, but it seems to be working out pretty well.
That is so cute how they all lay their together!
That person should be shot also see how he likes it!
Congrats on your new addition!
I cant believe someone shot him and left him for dead. Who are these people!?!?
Hounds are awesome dogs. Yes, beg hogs to the extreme! Does he howl at all? Sometimes our house turns into a howling/singing hysterical show.
Congrats on your new addition!

So cute!
Lady you are so brave, from zero dogs to three dogs in a matter of weeks! You are my hero and I love that you and your DH rescue such deserving animals.
I feel on you on the bed hog. Either DH or I end up down in the guest bedroom by the end of the night because Charlie has taken over our bed. Usually DH...

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
How horrible that someone just left him there! It's so nice that he know has a good home. :-)
Enjoy your new Pup.
Seriously, who are these people that can shoot a dog and leave them to die? We have two bed hogging rescue dogs that we wouldn't trade for the world.
You guys are great for adopting him.
He has not started to howl just yet. Yesterday we tried to put him in his kennel, and he is terrified of that. But with some treat training he has started to learn to like it.
Both. LOL. I get one corner of the bed with them both. Not good.
All 3 of our dogs are actually rescue dogs. The 2 girls were going to go to the pound because the lady who had them could not take care of them. So we took the girls. Even though they are young enough to be adopted out, it just broke my heart to know they would go to the pound.
I love all 3 dogs. I would not trade them for the world.
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
