How long does it take your LO to finish a 4oz bottle?

until last night - for the past few weeks it was taking her FOREVER.. like over an hour and she would fall asleep after eating an oz.. then wake up screaming cause she was hungry... I changed to the #2 nipple.. and she drank it in like 20 minutes.. with burps in between.. AND she was LESS gassy!! whoo hoo!!

I think normally 3 months is when you switch to the #2, but I'm also thinking of switching early because DS takes forever and has a lot of gas.

I just decided to "try" it.. so try it.. if it seems to be too fast.. change back.. lol.. I dont think age matters.. but that's just meee!

Im not kidding.. she was wayyy less gassy (I guess from trying to suck down with the #1 and was sucking a ton of air.. even with Dr. Browns.. ) and she didnt spit up as much.. score!!!

DD downs 4 ounces in 10 minutes and burps once at the end (although this burp rivals those of large men). Sometimes I wish feeding her took longer. We have the slowest nipple we could find. I thought maybe she was really hungry but she eats 28-30ounces a day and she weighs 10lbs!! She eats 4 ounces every 2 hours.

He'd down 4 ounces in 5 minutes if we'd let him, but we try to stretch it out to 10-15 by taking frequent burping breaks. This kid has got a crazy appetite.
