I ended up skipping 2 months all together - I think it was 2 and 6. 

Glad you posted this though cuz tomorrow is 7 months so perhaps with this reminder I actually will do it on the right day!

You need an "other" -- we take the one with her sign on her exact day, and then the fun "photo shoot" whenever we can fit it in. We've been up to two weeks late on that one...(coughthismonthcough)

I think I've been a day late a couple times, but for the most part I try and make a point to do it on the actual day.

With DS, it was always exactly on the 17th.

So far, I got DD's 1 month on the 12th, but I doubt I'll be as prompt every time.  It's a little more difficult with DS "helping".
