I was googling the sensitivity of this test and saw a few posts about people having false positives with this test. Why do I google?? Anyone hear of this? I thought digitals were less sensitive than line tests, but it seems like this particular test is more sensitive.
Re: False positives with First Response Gold Digital?
It is more sensitive, something close to 18 mIU, I used it after I got a faint line on a FRER and it came up positive. I haven't read anything about false positives, I've heard of it with clear blue, but not FR, so I'm not any help, sorry!

I just took one a few hours ago and it was neg, but the Dollar Store one that i took this am had a faint line. I don't think those people actually got false negatives - look at peeonastick dot com for clarification.
In my bag: Nikon D90; 35mm 1.8, 90mm 2.8 macro (my fave), Lensbaby Composer with macro extensions. BFP after 13 cycles and one ectopic. Lost left tube 5/19/10.
It can measure from 6 mIU so it is super sensitive.
The only thing I can think of, if it was a chemical pregnancy it may have showed a positive but had been negative a few days later. A positive is a positive.
