My friend's son is ok! Yay! The dr said it's definitely bruised and probably sprained but it's not broken. PHEW!!! I am so glad he's ok and not in a cast!

What a relief, and what a frightening experience for you!  If it helps any, and knowing that accidents are going to happen even if you're right there and doing everything exactly right, if it had been my kid at your house I wouldn't have thought twice about it being your influence or fault or whatever, so I hope you don't feel too too guilty about it.  Just rotten luck sometimes!
