Maybe mildly exfoliate and then lotion up with a lighter lotion in the day and maybe something hard core at night. Personally, I get sesasonal dry skin on my cheeks, but then my nose & forehead are oil slicks... I use St. Ives apricot scrub and st ives daily moisturizer a few times a day, both those help to even out my skin.
Olay has some heavy duty night creams that help with dryness I've used before. And my buddy literally uses straight up vaseline at night after a face washing - I asked him about it once and he said "i'm black, i get ashy!" and his gf tried it, she's white, and her only complaint was that she got oily from it b/c she figured she used too much but she didn't break out from it or anything. So I guess if you're prone to break-outs... don't do it. I'd exfoliate then slather on some aveeno or olay!
Oh, for body dryness, which my legs are like 2 desert sticks, i use neutrogena sesame oil in the shower right before i get out, then slather on palmers cocoa butter lotion.
My face has been peeling too, especially my forehead. I've tried several different types of lotion and nothing is working. I'm about to open up a vitamin E tablet and try that! I'm seriously flaking!
