Target Formula Users

Can anyone please tell me about Target brand formula & your exp. w/it?

1) What does it compare itself to (i.e. Similac, Enfamil, etc.)?

2) How much is a big powder can of it? Costco generic is 2/25/7oz. cans for $19.79--I was surprised to find that Target brand diapers were cheaper than Costco/Kirkland brand....got me thinking about Target formula....

Thanks, ladies!

Re: Target Formula Users

  • they have tons of different versions- compared to various brand names. I use the one that compares to Similac with prebiotics.

it's about $13 for the can - and you can call once/month to Target and they will send you a $3 coupon --- i call and pretend to be my mom and sister, too, and have one sent to their homes, too - they won't send 2 for twins.

we love it.  Walmart's generic is pretty much the same thing- made by the same company - looks exactly the same (the powder) we interchange between them without problems.

  • I don't know anything about the formula, but I want to say that I recently realized that Target diapers are cheaper than Costco and was surprised as well!

I just did the math--Costco is actually still cheaper for formula, but not for diapers. Target is now going to be my diaper stop and I'll keep getting the bulk formula from Costco.

I actually have tried the Up&Up formula when my DDs weren't totally on formula so I wasn't really paying attention to cost, comparisons, etd then. But I will say the Target generic of Enfamil Gentlease worked fine w/ DDs when we tried it

. I am just glad though that they do just as great on Costco formula!
