We are thinking of the name Allison (nickname "Allie") but are having trouble coming up with middle names. We prefer something short, but I don't want to use Grace or Rose. My husband likes the middle name Belle but I don't think I like it very much.
So my question is - what do you think of the middle name Belle with Allison "Allie"? Also, any other middle name ideas? Thanks!
Re: Middle name for Allison
Belle is okay.
What about Leigh? Nicole goes with pretty much every name I've noticed. O.o
Allison Christine
Allison Charlie
Allison Michelle.
Allison Jane
Allison Mae
Allison Eve?
You could always just use Marie.
If we ever have another little girl she will be Allison Jo (Allie Jo). Do you have any family names that you could use?
I agree with pp that Allison Mae is cute.
Otherwise, what about
Allison Rae
Allison Marie
Allison Kay
I don't really think I like Belle as a mn for Allison...
Allison Belle is ok
Allison Kate
Allison Marie
Allison Ann
Allison Jane
My favorite girl middle name right now is Laine. It seems to go well with lots of first names! Allison Laine... I like it!
My mom's name is Allison Lillian.
Allison Elizabeth
Allison Virginia
Allison Danielle
Allison Katherine
Allison Jade
Allison Renee
Allison Anne
Allison Kourtney
Allison Christine
Best of luck picking your little ones name! Keep us posted!
Allison Leigh
My good friend is Allison Mae.
What about Joy? I also think it'd sound good with Faith or Hope.
I like Alison (that spelling), too, only not the NN Ali. I love Alison with Kara, Elaine, Claire, Marie, Olivia, Rose, Paige, Jane and Rae (though that's usually NMS).

We have always use family names (first names, not last) for our kids (well, 2 and waiting). My brother did the same thing, though. Maybe there's a woman (grandma/aunt or even close friend) to whom you'd like your child to have a connection?
