I'm gonna say fairly true to size. Lila is almost 1 year and 22 lbs and she's in the 12-18 month size. I bought a bunch of stuff in the 18-24 month size because she usually wears a size up (in other brands), but the pants are HUGE. I went to exchange them for the 12-18 month size but they were all out, so I saved the big stuff for late summer/early fall.

I've found their sizing to be inconsistent. DS has a rugby shirt in 18 months that he can barely squeeze into, but a tshirt I recently bought in that size is actually a tad big on him.

This for us as well. Also, they have a 12-18 mo. "baby" size, and a 12-18 mo. "toddler" size, just like Baby Gap. And they oddly enough not the same size, which I think is kind of ridiculous. He has a 12-18 mo. shirt from ON that he can barely wear anymore, it's so small, and yet some other stuff is still a little big on him.
Compared to Carter's, which for DS has been the most "true" fit I've found, ON seems to be a little smaller.
I just wanted to let you know that I bought a baby gap t-shirt in size 18-24 months at a recent consignment sale (so it had been washed many times). Then I bought a t-shirt from old navy in size 3T (because I really wanted the shirt for him and they were out of 2T) Anyway, I washed the ON shirt and as I was hanging up laundry today I noticed the 3T is now smaller than the 18-24 month gap shirt. I thought this was weird since they are essentially the same company. Hope that helps.
I bought DD some 18-24 month shirts during the last big internet sale and was disappointed with how little she got to wear them. Her belly is hanging out.

I think they run small and shrink like crazy.
