I've been drinking so bare with me.

For those that drink wine I have a question. Is it super tacky of me to fill my glass to the brim? I think having a half glass of wine is a waste of my time.

No, not at all.. that's coming from a wine-o though so take it with a grain of salt. hehe. Unless it's white wine in which case I'd say fill it 1/2 way or drink it fast before it gets warm.  

p.s. I'm stuck at work for another hour and 1/2 so I'm jealous of the wine you're drinking.

Oh, you're funny. When I'm home, I fill it up.

On Fridays after work, I fill it till I have to quickly sip so that it doesn't pour out of the glass, so maybe I'm tacky lol

Yes I'm alone. When I finally have my wine & cheese party I will try to be a lady and fill it half way. However, it will be very hard lol.

The wine glass is shaped so that you fill it up 1/3 to 1/2 way and allow the rest of the glass to allow the wine to "breathe" to release the tannins and the bouquet - but that's the wine educator answer to your question - if you're just drinking to drink, fill er up :-)

 I love anybody that can call themselves a wine-o! The only wine I can drink warm is Moscato. I will drink that from the bottle and nobody can stop me. 

Get home safe and get a glass! By then I will be slurring my words and burning dinner.

Oh boo!! You would kill my solo party lol. No matter they only give me sips when I go wine tasting.

Ha! awesome. I'll agree with the first poster--with company, you're "supposed" to do half of the glass. It actually does allow the wine to breathe, etc. But if it's just you plus maybe DH and/or close friends who won't judge, by all means! :-)
