I hope none of you that are upset ever browse for a maternity swimsuit at work. She's not naked. Again, as I wrote on the other post, if it were my big butt I would understand the offense taken.
Rita, you look great. I think some people overreacted.
Sorry for all the flames you got. Personally, I thought the picture was cute and so did most people on third tri - wow I just realized how rumors go around on here LOL! But no, you didn't show bush, crack or vag so it wasn't that bad. You see more on TV commercials and Victoria Secret advertisements than in your photo. As far as people (men) taking the picture and getting off on it, well, its a compliment if nothing else and it doesnt have your face so whatever. But hey, if your that comfortable in your body to show that much skin then more power to ya, plus - you would have got the same response if it was a bikini cause that's no different and people wear bikinis in public all the time.
On a side note - I have tons of those same underwear and they are SUPER comfortable, even now when most of my other undies don't fit anymore!

Post it if you want but give a warning. I have no desire to see your (or any other bumpies) ass. You bare belly? I'm ok with that but your picture was a bit inappropriate.
Eh, you think that since you've been around for a long time you can dictate what other people can and can't post, and what is or is not appropriate. In your opinion your delicate eyes were offended. It's the internet. Get over it.
If people are allowed to be snarky b*tches then people are also allowed to post whatever pictures they want. You don't own the board. Get over it.
I agree that she (and anyone else) can post whatever they want. The only point I have tried to make is that if anyone is going to post a picture in a thong, they should give a warning for those that don't want to see them in most of their glory.
And, I'm not the only one who has that same opinion on the desire to be warned.

I agree - I mean seriously is no one getting maternity pictures done? Are they more often then not done in the nude? and then people post them to show them off, or better yet photographers post them on their website. Not only is it no different than a bathing suit - in a sense it is considered art. Seriously, if you have a problem with if you must be wound pretty tight or just not be open minded. Maybe it's just me because DH is an art major and we appreciate that sort of thing but honestly anyone who seems to think this is a big deal has no class IMO. If you cannot appreciate a pregnant woman's body, then you really must have issues. Hell, can you even appreciate your own body. I think everyone just needs to 1. Let this go 2. Appreciate her apology (even though IMO was not necessary) and 3. Stop acting like a jealous 15 year old.
wow i agree, it doesnt look bad at all. i understand about the work thing but didnt you see where she said i hope this works. hmmm ladies lets think, maybe this is her first time posting a pic. give her a break.
jeeze louise. ive seen worse on the victoria secret website. which im sure most of you ladies have been on.
you look great rita, i guess next time you'll just have to be more careful!!

All the "inappropriate" parts were completely covered, in my opinion.
If you've got a belly that cute, and a butt that still looks good in a thong, by all means go ahead and show it off!!
Ladies, you didn't see her vagina, you didn't see her boobs, you didn't see her butt crack. What's the fuss all about?! Jealousy, perhaps?????
