Two Under 2

Define 2 under 2

Silly question, I know, but is 2 under 2 defined as your first child being under 2 when the second is born or still 2 years old (ie 2 1/2 y.o.)?  Just wondering......

Re: Define 2 under 2

  • You got me!  I've seen it in magazines as 2 in diapers... I have no idea, but if I get pg now, DS will be 19mo when the LO is born, so I'm not concerned about technicalities...
  • Two kids under the age of two, so your first child is not yet 24 months old when your second is born.

This.  But IMO "once 2u2, always 2u2".  Smile  So even though my oldest is almost 26mo now I still say I have 2u2.

  • I always thought it referred to as giving birth to 2 kids in under 2 years, but sometimes it seems like everyone on this board still has under-two-year-olds, and that mine are too old.

  • 2 kids under the age of 2.  Next week we will officially not be in the 2U2 club!

  • 2U2 means that your kids are withing 24 months of each other, mine are 21 months apart.  And no, you don't need to leave this board when your youngest hits 2 years of age although most on this board are pg or have very young kids.  My kids are now 3 years 9 months and 2 years old.

  • Well, I post on here even though mine won't be 2u2. DS wasn't 2 when I got pregnant but he'll be closer to 30 months by the time the baby is born. Frankly, I feel like its close enough. I still need a lot of the same advice and have the same concerns as parents of 2u2... it would be 2u1 that would REALLY be different I think.
