I've been on 1700 mg met for just over a month now and I still haven't ovulated (getting close to 50 days for this cycle). I was just curious about how long it took the rest of you guys to get a regular cycle with met?
My RE said to check back in a few months. If I haven't ovulated she said that she may even increase the Met again. I've read that it can take 2-3 months to have the best effects. I guess I just need to hear a few words of encouragement to hang in for a few more months!
Thanks ladies!

I had one 60 day 'cycle' with a provera induced period at the end of that when I first started met/diet/exercise, then the next cycle I ovulated on CD 23 and got pg with DD.
I've only just gotten my cycles back after having DS and seem to be back on the 60 day pattern.
Never O'd on met - but then again, I only started met when I started IVFs. But I suspect met alone isn't "strong" enough for me.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
Ditto this. Although around the holidays I got bad about taking it regularly.
Met + diet/exercise really helped my cycle. I saw a noticeable change within two months. Both have really helped me ovulate and regulate my cycle.
On a side note, I saw ALL of the side effects at first while taking Met. Exhaustion, diarrhea, and nausea.
