My smart, funny boy

I'm an extremely list-based person, and I keep all of my daily chores (for both work and home) in a task-management system on my computer.  I seldom print the list; I just work with it onscreen.  The past few days, Daniel's been coming into my office, looking over my shoulder, and saying things like, "That says make Daniel a grilled cheese sandwich!" and "That says it's time to play trains, Mommy!"

Besides being super-cute, it's a good reminder to me to take breaks to enjoy what's most valuable in my life.

Off to make a grilled cheese sandwich for my boss!
