I am feeling a little AWish right now. So two AW's and a confession:
First, I am down 18lbs since Jan 1! I have been working my a$$ off and really watching what I eat. It feels so good to be down. I still have a LONG way to go, but it looks like my body is finally ready to work with me and let some of the weight go.
Secondly, I spent the ENTIRE weekend cleaning our house. You can now lick the surface of anything in our home...it's that clean! I spent close to $200 at the container store in order to get everything in place. The only exception to this is the office which is DH's territory. He is a major hoarder. But after a long heart to heart this weekend, he has agreed to let go of most of his "stuff" and we will be sorting though and cleaning up the office this week. It is going to feel SO good to have our house in order.
Confession: DH and I are disgusting. You would not believe some of the nastiness I came across while cleaning. Yuck. I must do a better job keeping up with the house going forward. A major part of our problem is dog hair. We have two pugs that shed like crazy. I really have a hard time keeping up with all of the hair. It is awful and embarassing. I love my dogs but sometimes I wish I had selected a different breed.
Now, if you made it this far you get a
ETA: that was supposed to be a gold star....WTF?
Re: AW: Please excuse me while I pat myself on the back (long)
So jealous! We need to do a major spring cleaning/decluttering. Enjoy your spruced up space!
And congrats on the weight loss!
That's a story of its own! G has been very clingy to me lately. She decided she wanted to spend the weekend not being further than 5 feet from me at any time. I wore the Bjorn, put the jumper in the doorway for the room I was in, put blankets on the floor with lots of toys and was dragging the exersaucer around from room to room. It was SO hard. She wanted to be held, which is hard for me to deny, that's probably why it took me so long to do everything. Nap time was great I was much more efficient!
