Anyone's LO get sick when teething...

And not sniffles, coughing, and such, but actually puking?  Ian's been on and off barfing all weekend, and seems to have limited appetite.  Pedi said he is for sure teething but I haven't seen anything yet.  

He doesn't have a fever, and doesn't seem to be feeling sick, just starts to take a bottle at any given time and after an ounce or two just barfs it all back up.

Meh...  sounds more like a stomach bug than teething to me.  I think teething gets blamed for more than it causes.

DS spit up a lot, but I didn't notice any extra spitting up around teething.  Is it actual spitting up or more like vomitting (the difference is in volume and smell)? 

Are you giving tylenol or motrin?  Could it be a reaction to that?  Sometimes motrin/ibuprofen can irritate the stomach, so if that's the case, you could try switching to tylenol. 

Just based on what you're saying, I would guess that the two aren't related, but I hope that the little guy feels better.  If it keeps up, it wouldn't hurt to call the pedi and see what they recommend.
