Im slowly working on clearing out my garage. I had a yard sale about a year ago, but there is still alot left in there. I dont have the energy to post it all on CL, just want it all gone. Also dont want to pay someone to haul it all off. Its not all junk, some things are worth something. Ive seen people in the neighborhood put a "Free" sign on stuff after they've had a garage sale. I'm wondering if people actually just pick these items up. What are your thoughts on doing this? Would it be weird for me to have some random stuff on my curb for a day with a "free" sign? I just want this stuff gone and looking for the easiest, free-est way. (Ive already taken a few loads to Goodwill.)

I'd put a list of the stuff on CL (just one posting) under the free or giveaway or whatever section, saying you'll delete when it's all gone. I bet you'd have a traffic jam of people coming to snatch it up. We put a pile of bricks on there for free and had three trucks pull up in 20 minutes.
I wouldn't just put it out with a sign, personally, because I think it might take awhile to go away unless you're in a high traffic area. I know my neighbors would be annoyed with that and my HOA would probably frown upon it as well, kwim?

I was thinking of this but wasnt sure of the safety of this. I guess though, anyone could just do a google search on me and easily pull up my address. We dont have a HOA but I dont really want to be that neighbor.
I've given some of my stuff for free through..
