When did you start showing?

I am not showing, and I don't think I am supposed to be.  However, I am very bloated all of the time, resulting in a nice "puffy" look.  My belly reminds me of a muffin, which of course, makes me want to eat a muffin, which doesn't help the looking like a muffin.

Re: When did you start showing?

  • 16 weeks with A

    18 weeks with V

The initial puffiness went down for me both times around week 11.  Enjoy your muffin!

  • I truly started showing at about 15 weeks.  Before that though, I felt like I was showing immediatley due to extreme bloating.
  • Not showing yet, but definitely was super puffy and bloated for the first 10 weeks or so.  I couldn't figure out why, either, because I was peeing about every 1.5 hours.  You're totally normal!  (And changing into pj pants or other elastic-waist pants after work really helped me not feel like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man all day long.)

  • 13 weeks.

No, I'm not kidding. This is my first too! I was shocked but I looked bloated before and when I went to tell my team at work on of the guys said "I was wondering" I couldn't have waited any longer to tell everybody.

  • With the bloating, the hips spreading, etc. I honestly had to start wearing the bella band at 11 weeks. I still don't feel like I look pregnant, more like I ate one two many cheese burgers...but last week my manager pointed at my stomach and giggled as she said 'baby'. So...I'm going with 18-ish weeks I finally didn't look bloated/fat but actually pregnant.
  • about the bloating, I felt like I was showing every PM, not the AM for a long time.

I didn't show until 16 weeks with #1, 13 or so with #2, and 15 or so with #3 (but I was really really sick, so I didn't leave the house much.  Maybe I did show but I was able to wear sweatpants and didn't know.)

  • Ok, so I have a ways to go before I stop just looking fat and start looking pregnant.

I'll use any excuse to tell people these days, so my looking puffy makes me want to explain it to my co-workers.   They are probably wondering why I look so ecstatic to be gaining weight.  They were very confused the week I came back after my grandmother's funeral with a smile plastered on my face.

  • I ate a lot during my first trimester to combat nausea, so I had a nice gut by about 12 weeks.  However, I didn't consider that to be "showing". I don't think I really started looking pregnant because of the baby and not b/c of my fat gut until about 17-18 weeks.
  • I think my belly started poking out really low around 16 weeks, but I didn't look really pg until 21ish weeks.
