This time of year we have wasps attracted to our fireplace area...they can come in from outside. What do you use INSIDE your home to repel/kill bugs? We do spray the outside area...but sometimes we get them inside.
Food grade Diatomaceous Earth! It's a powder, and a total pain to treat with, but it works REALLY well and is completely harmless to humans & animals. Even to ingest!
I have the inside sprayed too (we just used Orkin). FWIW, their stuff is pretty safe. A pet would have to drink like 4-6 oz. of it to get sick, and a human, close to a gallon. We just went outside until it dried and I locked the cats up. It has no smell or fumes.
