Help! did I mess up my Ovidrel shot?

So I just gave myself the Ovidrel shot but I did not allow it to adjust to room temperature after I took it out of the fridge. Is that really bad? This is the third time I'm doing this shot and I got complacent and completely forgot the instruction about letting it adjust.

I never heard that instruction. I really hope it isn't vital otherwise I have meesed up mine too. Hope someone has a good answer for you!

Hmmm...I've always thought it was just supposed to warm up a bit so it hurt less, I've never heard that the temp of it mattered for its effectiveness.

I think you are golden.  They tell you to bring it to room temp so that it does not hurt as much.

I always did mine right out of the fridge.  You should be fine.

Same here, all of mine were straight from the fridge.  I'm sure you'll be fine - my Ovidrel shot salways worked the way they were supposed to!

Thanks ladies, I feel so relieved. I noticed it did sting a little going in this time so you must be right about it being more comfortable at room temperature.

I only gave mine about 5 minutes out of the fridge...the trigger worked (although I didn't get pg) I def O'd when I was supposed to.  HTH!
